Artist Statement

My work is made from strips of painted canvas, that are placed in conversation with the ground.

Working within a restricted palette, I am drawn to the sensitivity and subtlety that intentional colour relationships produce. Restriction creates a small world. Within that small world a universe of incremental differences that are endlessly fascinating opens up.
